I want to create the icon and have it change based on the page that is bookmarked within Joomla. Do you know of a solution for this?

I am assuming that you would use a variable for the Icon. The usage is to adjust the icon to be based on the Jomsocial profile being loaded and bookmarked.

I followed your instruction and inserted the image in the images folder but the icon I created was not used… Help?

Hi Sam, being honest, its probably over and above my skillset, you would be best maybe getting in touch Joomla PHP developer, I’m sure someone like Brian Teeman could point you in the right direction.

I inserted and updated the code above and see it in my html, but how can I see if it works without an iphone? Should the logo show up, or it only does on the iphones?

Type the code into your header and don’t paste it from this page to avoid font character errors. Check the source code in your browser to see if any errors exist. FYI

I added the image to the root folder of my Joomla site and it is still trying to use the Joomla logo instead of my icon.

Hi Shai,

Sorry for the late reply. It is possible that you have put the icon in the root folder of your hosting, rather than the template your using.

If your using FTP, go into the TEMPLATES folder then the name of the template your using, and there you should place the icon.
