Work Exprience

Airlink Group - Nov'09 to Present

At Airlink Group I am the lead designer and developer and responsible for all the companies websites and online identity.

I manage and maintain several websites over different platforms. My main responsibilities are the design and customisation of the websites, user interface design, search engine optimisation and updating and maintaining the website content. I also work in conjunction with our database developer to get our front end systems working in conjunction with the back-end.

I'm also in the process of learning ASP.net to take on the back-end development myself.

RSTO - Oct'08 to Nov'09

Working as part of the team that designs small business websites for BT I was responsible for the full design and creation of the site onto a CMS system for the client. We worked with the Joomla CMS system, as well as all the extra Joomla components too.

Working in a high volumn environment at times I was responsible for up to 20 clients. This meant being highly organised and being able to prioritise work as and when it needs done.

As part of my work I was also responsible for company branding and logo design as part of many projects and working with the clients I created the look and feel of the company.

I was also responsible in some cases for training clients over the phone via the internet to use the Joomla CMS, so that they were able to maintain their website themselves.

HMRC - June'04 to Oct'08

At HMRC I worked within the Tax Credits Department, working on the system to update, fix and maintain customer records, to make sure they received the correct benefits.

I also worked in the Technical Team, where I was responsible for training staff on the system and how to follow the correct process's.
